I would like to express my pleasure for your interest in our schools. My life long experience in participating in the educational process in our beloved country Egypt has proven that we are capable of providing the best education to our children.

Al Retaj School is a not-for-profit school, which believes in providing a personalized education for students as we recognize that every child is unique. We have a track record of excellent academic success. However, we also place a strong emphasis both on developing those personal qualities which our students will need in their future adult lives, and on their different talents, whether that is excelling on the sports field, performing on stage or participating in community projects. To support this wider development, we offer an extensive range of extra-curricular after- school activities, community initiatives and holiday programs.

I am delighted to introduce you to the website for Al Retaj School.

Trust established in 2012. We believe that every child in our school can achieve the highest academic standards whilst enjoying a vibrant, challenging and rich curriculum. Our aim is to provide our students an outstanding educational experience.

When we say outstanding, we mean this in the traditional definition of the word synonymous with excellent or marvelous or magnificent or superb or exceptional.

Al Retaj is accredited by AdvancED, a prestigious, international board of education. Every five years, an external team uses international criteria to review our academic, student enrichment, and governance programs.

Their assessment ensures that we maintain the most update, pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning, as well as a connection to the network of international schools worldwide. We are proud of the work we have done and the success that has been built over the years. We attribute our achievements to knowledgeable staff, meticulous administration, and a very dedicated support team.

Dear parents,

I am delighted to welcome you to our website and I hope that it will give you an insight into our school and the broad range of educational experiences available to our students.

As Principal of Al Retaj, I draw upon my many years of educational experience, both as an educator and an administrator, and the support of an amazing staff of caring, talented educators, to create a unique educational environment, specially tailored for our youngest scholars.

Our main strategy of learning aims to meet individual learning needs and styles as we believe that “one size doesn’t fit all”. This approach can be seen in all we do whether it is how we teach in classrooms, using digital learning resources, the opportunities children have to learn in a wide range of contexts, our regular celebrations of learning, strong remedial programs for those needing targeted support, and teacher aids and learning assistant helping in our classrooms.

The achievement of our students is built upon the partnership between students, parents, and teachers. Through quality teaching, student support, and our commitment to extra-curricular activities, we create the building blocks for success that will give them an advantage in their later years.
